Structural Design
With over 25 years of experience, our structural engineering team has worked on thousands of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We provide practical, cost-effective, and buildable structural solutions tailored to each project. Our team works closely with owners, architects, contractors, and municipalities to ensure that all structural work is safe, efficient, and compliant with local building codes and permit requirements.
We provide structural design, structural assessment, and engineering reports for new construction, renovations, tenant improvements, and existing buildings.
When Do You Need a Structural Engineer?
Wall Removal & Open Concept Renovations
If you are removing a wall or creating an open-concept space, a structural engineer is required to determine if the wall is load-bearing and to design the proper beam and support system. We provide structural drawings and calculations required for building permits.
Pre-Purchase Structural Inspection
Before purchasing a property, we can perform a structural inspection to identify structural issues such as foundation settlement, cracks, framing problems, roof structure or water-related structural damage. This helps buyers make informed decisions before finalizing the purchase.
Renovations & Additions
Structural engineering is required when adding new floors, adding rooms, building extensions, or making structural changes to an existing building. We provide structural design and drawings for permit approval and construction.
New Construction
We provide full structural design services for new residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, including foundation design, framing design, lateral load design, and structural drawings for permit and construction.
Foundation Design & Assessment
We design new foundations and assess existing foundations for settlement, cracks, underpinning, and upgrades required for renovations or additional loads.
Structural Assessment & Reports
We provide structural condition assessments and engineering reports required for permits, insurance, property transactions, and building evaluations.
.
Retaining Walls
We design retaining walls, concrete walls, site stairs, and other structural site elements that require engineering design and permits.
Tenant Improvements (TI)
When commercial spaces are renovated for new tenants, structural modifications are often required for new openings, equipment support, or layout changes. We provide structural drawings and letters for permit.
Permit Drawings & Letters of Assurance
We prepare structural drawings, calculations, Schedule B, Letters of Assurance, and other documents required for building permits and municipal approvals.
